This sample runs in your browser. Your own video is uploaded only when you start a real cleanup.

Select area repaints everything inside your boxes. Use only footage you own or have permission to edit.

What you can clean

What can a video object remover remove?

A video object remover is for something that is already part of the picture: a prop on a table, a sign on a wall, a sticker, a printed mark, or a small figure at the edge of a shot. Upload the clip, choose the part you need, and draw a box around the object. The tool rebuilds the area behind it instead of cropping the frame or covering it with a blur bar.

Everything inside the box is replaced. A tight box around the object gives the repair the best chance. A large box can change the table, wall, or person next to it, which is why the first test should be the hardest five seconds rather than the whole clip.

This page is for objects and printed marks on footage you own or are allowed to edit. It is not a background remover, a face swap, or a way to take another creator's watermark.

  • MP4 or MOV, up to 200 MB and 10 minutes
  • 5–90 second segment per cleanup
  • Box the object; keep important details outside
  • Use only footage you own or are licensed to edit

How it works

Upload, box the object, and review

Start with the hardest five seconds. A short test tells you whether the repair holds before you process more.

01

Upload your clip

Choose an MP4 or MOV up to 200 MB and 10 minutes, then select the 5–90 second part you need.

02

Draw around the object

Use Select area and keep the box close to the object. Add separate boxes for separate objects; everything inside a box is rebuilt.

03

Check the repair

Watch the whole segment. Look for a soft patch, a changed edge, or a detail that no longer matches. Download only after the five-second test holds.

What changes the result

Object, prop, or printed mark?

A fixed box does not follow a moving object. The shape of the box and the background behind it matter as much as the object itself.

If the object moves, a fixed box may miss it. Use Auto for text-like marks, or redraw boxes for each position and check the entire clip.

Both clips stay on the same timestamp. The pair only loads near the viewport and pauses when it leaves the screen.

We tested a person as well. When the figure fills the frame there is almost no background left to rebuild from, and the result was not good enough to publish — so this page shows only what held up.

What area mode cannot fix

Area mode repaints the box. It does not track an object frame by frame, restore a hidden background exactly, or separate two things that overlap.

  • A moving object that leaves the box
  • A figure or crowd that fills most of the frame
  • An object covering a face, hand, or fine pattern
  • A large area with complex lines, text, or reflections
  • A third-party watermark or attribution mark
  • A background replacement or face swap

Your clean clip is ready

The part you selected keeps its audio and picture size. Review the result before you download.

Upload a video

The sample stays in your browser. Your own video is uploaded only for cleaning, and only the part you select is used. See the Privacy Policy for how long we keep it.

Removing objects and printed marks: common questions

Q: What is a video object remover?

A video object remover rebuilds the area behind an object that is already part of the picture. It is different from cropping, which removes the edge of the frame, and from a blur bar, which hides the area.

Q: How do I remove an object from a video?

Upload an MP4 or MOV, select a 5–90 second part, choose Select area, and draw a box around the object. Keep the box close and check the repair before downloading.

Q: Can I remove a person from a video?

Sometimes, and it is the hardest thing this page covers. A small figure against a background that continues behind them is the best case. A person filling the frame leaves almost nothing to rebuild from: in our own test the repair invented detail instead of restoring the room. Test five seconds on your clip before spending credits, and keep people removal to footage you own or are allowed to edit.

Q: Can I remove a logo, sticker, or printed mark?

Yes, when it is on your own or licensed footage. Box the mark and its border. Flat walls are easier than fabric, glass, or a curved product.

Q: Will it leave a blur or a patch?

The tool does not add a blur bar or crop the frame. The repaired area can still look soft or leave a visible patch, especially on detailed or moving backgrounds.

Q: Can it track a moving object?

Select area uses fixed boxes, so it does not follow a moving object. Auto can scan text-like marks, but you still need to review the whole clip. Redraw boxes for each position when needed.

Q: How much does object removal cost?

Select area uses 2 credits per second. A new account gets 30 credits once, which covers up to 15 seconds; the browser sample is free. Each cleanup has a five-second minimum.

Q: What formats are supported?

MP4 or MOV, up to 200 MB and 10 minutes. The export contains the 5–90 second part you selected and keeps its audio and source frame size.

Q: Can I remove a watermark from someone else's video?

No. Remove only objects, people, and marks you own or have permission to edit. Taking a third-party watermark off someone else's clip is not an accepted use.

Q: Can I remove the background instead?

No. Area mode rebuilds the area inside a box; it is not a background remover or a cutout tool. Use a background-removal workflow when the whole subject needs to be separated.
